Caiff y cwrs hwn ei ardystio fel Diploma Technegol a’i fwriad yw diwallu elfen ddamcaniaethol y cwrs VCQ Lefel 3 mewn Cynnal a Chadw a Thrwsio Cerbydau Ysgafn. Mae hefyd yn diwallu gofynion y Fframwaith Prentisiaeth Uwch Cynnal a Chadw a Thrwsio (Cerbydau Ysgafn).

The Level 2 programme is broken down into five technical sections, including the four main vehicle areas designated by the National Occupational Standards developed by IMI:
- Chassis technology
- Engine technology
- Transmission technology
- Electrical and electronic technology
- General aspects e.g. health and safety, legal aspects and organisational requirements
Byddwch yn cael eich asesu drwy brofion ar-lein, gwaith cwrs, aseiniadau, portffolios ac asesiad ymarferol. Ar ol cwblhau'r cwrs, byddwch yn ennill:
- IMI Level 3 Diploma in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
- Cymwysterau cynorthwyol priodol er mwyn ehangu eich set sgiliau a bodloni anghenion y diwydiant
- Gweithgareddau sgiliau
- Mathemateg a Saesneg
- Level 3 Diploma in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair Principles
- Prentisiaeth adda
- Employment in industry as a technician
- 4 GCSEs grade D or above, to include Maths and English (or Welsh as a first language); or
- Diploma lefel 1 addas a TGAU gradd D neu uwch mewn Mathemateg a Saesneg (neu Gymraeg Iaith Gyntaf)
